Sales Tax - All New York residents will pay a state sales tax on their order.
Shipping Policy
Domestic and Canadian Shipping: All orders are processed within 2-5 business days when items are in stock, Monday-Friday, excluding holidays. We do our best to guarantee availability of products, some jewelry items are custom made and can take about 7-10 days to produce, please keep that in mind when ordering. Orders are processed out of upstate NY. If you have ordered an item that is no longer available we will notify you via email and you can choose to be refunded or wait-listed. All shipments are sent by UPS, unless otherwise instructed. You will receive a confirmation email with the tracking number, a signature is required. Although checkout provides shipping options for American Samoa, Micronesia, Marshall Islands, Northern Mariana, Palau, and the U.S. Virgin Islands, we are unable to ship to those locations at this time.
Canadian customers--at the present time, orders to Canada are occasionally being charged an import tariff fee. If this fee is applied, it is sometimes being requested by UPS to be paid online prior to delivery or sometimes being charged by the driver themselves upon the delivery. If you are being charged the import tariff and do not want to pay it, please just refuse to and the order will be returned to us. Then, please just email us and we can cancel and refund your order. We are sorry for this world wide weirdness.
Return Policy
We are happy to exchange any unworn, unwashed merchandise within 14 days of receipt of your order. The customer must be pre-authorized prior to sending any items back for a return. Species by the Thousands holds the right to deny exchanges if the merchandise does not meet our return requirements. All items must have original tags and/or packaging. The buyer is responsible for any return shipping cost. All apothecary products, aromatherapy and vintage items are final sale.
