Only one of its kind. Handmade vessel using mixed clay bodies, amethyst and white crawl glazes with blue underglaze detailing.
Manipulated, extruded organic looking object inspired by prehistoric textures and vessels. The inside is fully glazed in amethyst, the outside is partially glazed with a white crawl glaze. Attached textured pieces decorated with a pattern and some detailing painted in blue underglaze. Could serve as a vase, holding vessel, or sculpture.
This line of contemporary ceramics by Michele Colomer is inspired by organic shapes and pre-historic vessels, as well as the Funk Ceramic Movement happening on the West Coast of America in the 60s and 70s.
